I downloaded the 8 linker and extracted and it came up with a .exe which I ran and that came up with the command thing then put a folder on my desktop called pes-dat but it's empty.

I found the links on a trusted website and there's over 30 replies and nobodys said anything like this. It's obv. an old thread though so no1 will rpely now.

Any ideas before I remove and dl soot's links?

EDIT - Well since it executed the .exe my comps been runnin like a bitch, I tried scannin the file but it jus stopped at 50%, I've deleted it, although I doubt it'd be a virus - hopefully not.

Anyway will start downloading Soot's links now.

Dug out the old CD just, seems i uninstalled the game but my old option file and formations etc were still on my machine, quality!

Had a quick go, still a class game and doesnt take very long to get into due to the lack of complex shit the later versions have. The good old days where it was all about quick incisive 1-2 passing, love it!

Everyone should download/reinstall it.

£2.27 with free delivery is a bargain. For me it's the only PES game worth playing until a PES 6 private server is available.

It isn't actually that much different from PES 6. It's the same engine and apart from a few minor things it is pretty much the same.

After the Obsession Patch didnt work 100%, i uploaded the kitserver for you. Ive put the link into the 1st post. Just unpack inot ur PES4 install directory. Enter the kitserver-folder, start setup.exe and click on "install", done.

Now i've downloaded Soot's links with no problems until i try and extract I get the message saying "part 5 - unexpected end of archive" and "part 5 - possible incorrect password".

Have tried re-entering etc and re downloaded but still nothing.

Start the password with 'www' instead of 'http'.

That's what I've been putting in.

When I open part 5 in winrar it says unexpected end of archive so it's this part that's taking the piss.

No idea then. I just right click on the first one and it does the rest automatically.

yeah same but it always picks out part 5 as the problem.
