I left the chat room just before midnight, did you have any success in connecting in the end?

Oh and I found my disc this morning but I can't find the box :D so I haven't got a reg code to get the game re-installed with. Is there a way of finding another reg code on t'internet?

1v1 was working fine and we got a 2v2 running as well but it was more a lottery.
We just had this 1 game and then couldnt connect again.

Its just an alpha version so we think the 2v2 is buggy as fook and needs some time to get fixed.

But 1v1 seems to run good.

I`m not sure if u need a reg now Sky.
You can type in any username and password with this goalserver because its direct ip, so maybe no reg needed at all.

indeed, no registration will be needed, it will accept any combo of key / password. If you need a key to install it in the first place, just ask for one of ours in the chat room.

Yep, it was quality. I don't know why 2v2 only worked once though?

The annoying thing is the buttons for shooting and through balls are set wrong and you need to change them in online configuration before each game. It doesn't always work though as I set them to my usual controls but they were still wrong. I'm a freak and have triangle for shooting and square for through balls.

biff, for now, couldn't you "cheat" this control issue by purposefully setting them up wrong in the pro evo 6 settings; you know, where you see the image of the controller and you assign buttons to them. Set your triangle button to be the square button on that controller; voila?

Good idea cel, I just noticed I was already doing that. So if I leave them as is it should work without messing with the controls before playing.

You bunch of bloodclots!

this seems unlike me to get help on some networking issue

I'm having troubles with this Gayserver6.

I've entered my IP into the ip.conf, and also changing the hosts file to reflect what was in the instructions, but nada.

I just can't connect.

When I run the gayserver6 before loading the game, wazza manages to connect to me fine, and i see the authentication take place in the Gayserver6 dos screen. He even loads into the game and makes a room.

But for me, i can't get past the login screen inside PES. I've set the router up correctly, opening the ports etc. WTF ASAP. I'll come into chat later tonight to try and resolve it with someone else.

mes; thats coz the ip they give for one of the lines in the host file works for some people and not for others. I have another ip to go there that DOES work; working on a very simple batch file now that will do this all for everyone :)

I wondered where the second IP beginning with 75.blah.blah came from. I didn't question it. I'll wait for proper clarification. Top man for being on the case
