Was a tough game for the English.... our two biggest rivals in the football world playing each other....

I went for Germany, and I'm glad they won. I've hated the way Argentina have played throughout this tournament, especially in the knockout stages; more than happy to wait for penalties. Yeah, they had a few golden chances to score, especially via Higuain and Messi, but they only really had chances because Germany came out to play and to win. When you have two teams playing like Argentina, you get the snoozefest that was Argentina / Netherlands in the semis

Congratulations Effe. Like Moonrat said if you are English then that was the worst final possible but I too wanted Germany to win. They definitely played the best football through the tournament. Had to laugh when I saw that Neuer made more passes in the WC than Gerrard, Iniesta, Hazard, Pogba and some other high profile players that I can't remember now.

Anyway, well done. Blitzkrieg!!

Yo, thanks for your words, lads.
And keep your heads up. England will come back if they still work on the Youth.
And the win vs Argentina was also a win for the falkland isles.
